FlexQube receives first Navigator AMR order in Mexico worth 500 000 USD
FlexQube has received an order for the patented Navigator AMR system (autonomous mobile robot) to a global producer of commercial vehicles. The order value is about 500 000 USD and is the first order for the robotic system in Mexico, and the largest to date in North America. After implementation there is a potential for more units during 2025.
The products will be delivered by the end of the fourth quarter 2024.
CEO Mårten Frostne comments: “The first order for our innovative AMR system in a new country is always a milestone. We have grown the eco-system of load carriers to the Navigator, and this customer will use a towing load carrier together with the AMR to autonomously tow a train of material handling carts from the warehouse to the assembly line. We have been selected in a competitive bid process amongst established and well-known global robotic brands.
We continue to see a growing pipeline of AMR projects, especially in North America. Our focus is on existing customers within manufacturing and assembly operations where the need for flexibility is crucial. The Navigator, which is a standardised AMR, offers high level of flexibility thanks to a broad eco-system of load carriers that can vary in size, shape and function. We see a strong competitive advantage compared to other solutions in this market with these features.”
