FlexQube receives order from Volvo Car US Operations
CEO – Anders Fogelberg
The car maker Volvo Cars orders more than 1000 FlexQube material handling carts.
FlexQube has received an order for dollies, to be used with the STILL Liftrunner B-frames, from Volvo Car US Operations. The order is for four different versions of dollies and with the FlexQube concept, Volvo Cars get the flexibility to ramp up production in their plant just outside Charleston, South Carolina.
In the process, FlexQube emphasized the different benefits with the FlexQube dollies compared to welded alternatives, including lower costs for alterations and repairs, as well as flexibility to move between the different cart sizes further down the line.
Anders Fogelberg, CEO of FlexQube commented: “This is a large order for FlexQube and we are happy that car maker Volvo Cars has chosen our products for this order. FlexQube will be able to help the customer adapt to sudden changes in container size, delivery methods or material presentation setups. With our US manufacturing and distribution center just three hours away from the Volvo Cars plant FlexQube can also offer a great level of service.”
