FlexQube wins first AGV order in Sweden

Part Construction AB in Kalix, who manufactures prefabricated bathrooms, has ordered two AGVs that will allow them to automate the transport of material carts internally in their plant. By using the AGVs to pull other shelf carts, Part Construction will be able to automate the transport of 80 existing carts that are being handled manually today.

With our first-generation AGV that is using a vision-based technology, more precisely a contrast color on the floor, all businesses can take their first step towards automation of their logistic processes. FlexQube makes it possible for the customers to get a customized motorized cart that can be implemented without the need for any other infrastructure, e.g. wi-fi. This makes it very user friendly, and we are proud of the development leading up to the AGV where we have used the experience we have gained from intralogistics and sales of mechanical carts for 10 years as a base” CEO, Anders Fogelberg comments (publ).
