FlexQube’s big 4 days at MODEX 2018! A short rundown
What a fantastic whirlwind MODEX 2018 was for FlexQube! Not only were we able to get team members from all around the globe to join us at the event, it was Cherie and Jan’s first trade show as FlexQube members. Jan has joined us as our newest Sales Manager for Germany & Cherie is joining us as our newest member of the U.S. team, joining us as Key Account Manager. It was very pleasing to see so many of the FlexQube team come together for an event like MODEX 2018.
Our first time at MODEX!
MODEX 2018 was the first time FlexQube had its own booth at the show and we wanted to make sure we stood out from the crowd with not only our booth but also our material handling options. It was fantastic to talk to so many people that had never heard of FlexQube before, or ever seen our carts. So, to have these potential customers interact with our carts and have such positive feedback was a huge feeling of success for us.
FlexQube 4.0
There were quite a few highlights for FlexQube at MODEX this year, but the biggest unveiling we had was by far our upcoming “FlexQube 4.0” project. Our CTO, Per Augustsson and our design team in India had been secretly working away on this project for quite some time and it was fantastic to get such positive feedback during its debut at MODEX. The idea of having carts that can follow each other through ultrasonic sensors and have no physical attachment was something quite a few people are impatiently waiting for.
Mechanical Meets Digital Seminar!
On the Wednesday of MODEX our CTO, Per Augustsson had a 45-minute seminar speaking slot to explain the process of joining digitalization with the mechanical world that material handling exists in. Within this presentation he outlined the ideas and processes behind combining the future of technology, Industry 4.0 and the IoT (Internet of Things) with modern day material handling to create an efficient process for years to come.
Altogether, MODEX 2018 was an incredible experience for FlexQube. Squeezing all of the above factors into 4 short days, ensured we had a blast not only with meeting new people but also as a team. If you met us last week at MODEX, don’t be afraid to reach out to us on sales@flexqube.com if you need any further information or were interested in anything you saw at our booth.
Otherwise we look forward to hopefully seeing you all again next year at ProMAT 2019 in Chicago!
