FlexQube Welcomes Daniel To Our Product and Technology Team!
FlexQube is excited to welcome the newest member of our quickly growing team, Daniel Jakobsson!
Daniel has joined our Product and Technology department at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. His educational background, earlier experiences, and interest in automation and mechatronics make him ideal for his new role as Robotics Engineer at FlexQube. And we think he will fit perfectly in our team. Let’s hear Daniels thoughts about his new role and FlexQube:
What do you think you will be able to bring to the FlexQube team as a whole?
I believe that I will contribute with a passion for robotics and automation, which I hope could inspire the team during our transition against more automation concepts at FlexQube. The working environment at FlexQube gives great opportunities for creativity and teamwork to find great solutions, which I think is really inspiring. I hope to bring new thoughts and angles to the solutions and where we will continuously learn and gain experience as a team.
What do you think about the FlexQube concept?
I strongly believe in the FlexQube concept with the flexibility and modularity it offers. I think the eQart concept will prove to be a very good solution for many different customers and cases since it offers a unique and customized solution to each problem. This is a strong niche at FlexQube compared to our competitors in the automation business that I think will be very valuable over time.
What do you think you will be able to bring to our customers?
Since I am working in the product and technology team, I hope that I will contribute to a more robust and reliable product for the customers. It is important to properly understand the problem each customer wants to solve, where I hope I will be an additional resource of creativity and finding solutions for each problem.
How did you end up within this industry or career path?
In my educational background in Automation and Mechatronics, I found an interest in robotics early on. I, therefore, shaped my education in that direction, where I conducted different projects and courses within automation and robotics specifically. The automation industry was therefore a natural next step after graduation, where I found the opportunity at FlexQube really inspiring and a perfect challenge for me.
Tell us what your go-to productivity trick is?
When I feel like I am lacking in inspiration or productivity I usually try to slightly change the environment by for example sit down at a new location or perhaps take a short walk. It could also be useful to discuss the current problem with my colleges to get new views and thoughts on how it could be solved.
What energizes you on a normal day at work?
It is very important for me to have fun at work. The FlexQube team has been great at bringing me into the group, where we have a lot of fun together during work. I think that this in the end will lead to a more inspiring work environment, where we can all learn from each other.
